Happy Spring!

The crocuses are blooming, and daffodils and tulips are poking up out of the ground. Spring really is here, fiber friends! You won't believe all the gorgeous new yarns at Yarn Cravin' right now, but I'll try to fill you in.

First up, from Classic Elite, is Classic Silk. This yarn is a silk/wool blend and it's delicious! Look at all the beautiful colors.

Looking for something colorful? Check out Sausalito! It's also superwash, so think baby items, cowls, etc!

From Katia, this yarn is a wide tape, with openings along the edge for inserting the needles. Rizos makes a gorgeous, frilly scarf!

Need something for that spring/summer baby that's coming? This yarn by Sirdar might be the answer! Summer Stripes is a DK weight yarn.

Also by Sirdar, Smiley Stripes uses bold, happy colors.

Looking to make something classic, in a neutral color? Check out Flicker, by Berocco. This yarn has just a little bit of sparkle to it and it's beautiful! You'll find this in the wool room right now.

The colors of this Cotton Bam Boo just scream summer, don't they?!

These colors make me think of popsicles. On Line yarns presents Tequila. Now who can resist that?

From Pagewood Farms, we have new sock yarns.

As always, there are new bags, books, patterns and notions arriving all the time. I'm pretty sure I didn't get all the new yarns for you, this time, either!

Yarn Cravin' will have a booth set up next weekend, March 26, at the Bowling Green Fairgrounds for Fiber Fair. The Fiber Fair is a great place to look for spinning and weaving supplies, as well.

REMINDER: The Spring Retreat is the first weekend in April! Are you signed up? Call the shop to see if there's still room for you to attend. Thanks in advance to Annette Groff, our retreat organizer!

Thanks Karen, another great blog, even better because I have not been at the shop to see those new yarns by Classic Elite, I wait to get them in my hands.
